Man with gun in custody after standoff near Mark Twain Elementary in Oklahoma City
Police have taken a man into custody after they surrounded a house at 2436 NW 2 after getting reports a man was shooting a gun outside the house.
"As our officers arrived, he ran back inside the house," Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.
Police asked officials at nearby Mark Twain Elementary School to go into lockdown mode until the situation was under control.
