The cornerback position is one of the deepest positions in the 2010 NFL Draft. And former Oklahoma State cornerback Perrish Cox is right in the mix to be considered among the best.

Florida cornerback Joe Haden is generally regarded as the top cornerback available, but Cox joins Boise State’s Kyle Wilson, Alabama’s Kareem Jackson and Rutgers’ Devin McCourty in the battle to be the second cornerback selected.

ESPN.com’s Scouts’ Inc. ranks Cox as the fourth-best cornerback. Kevin Weidl wrote about Cox: "Cox showed well at the Senior Bowl. He and (Kyle) Wilson have the quickest hips in this year’s class, and Cox plays the ball extremely well. Some off-the-field baggage will likely keep him out of the first round, but Cox certainly had all the physical tools.”

OKUNG, BRYANT PROJECTED TOP 15, AGAIN
NFL.com draft analyst Bucky Brooks released his updated mock draft his week. Brooks has former Cowboys offensive tackle Russell Okung and receiver Dez Bryant each projected in the top 15 selections.

Okung is slated to be picked by Washington with the fourth overall pick, while Bryant is projected to go to the Denver Broncos at No. 11.

Bryant to the Broncos seems to be the overriding prediction from draft analysts with ESPN.com’s Mel Kiper and Todd McShay both having Denver selecting the Lufkin, Texas, native.
