But Mayock says Bryant still has a lot to prove when he participates in the wide receiver workouts Sunday morning at the NFL Combine. He said Bryant, who missed much of his junior season after being suspended by the NCAA, needs to dispel rumors he is out of shape and might have character issues.
"He needs to run a good 40 and by that I would define anything under 4.48 as a great time for him at his size,” Mayock said. "I think he can get closer to 4.4. I know he can catch the football. I know how athletic he is. He has to convince teams that he has the work ethic and intelligence necessary to compete at the highest level when they hand him an awful lot of money.”
Mayock will be joined by host Rich Eisen and analyst Charles Davis on the network’s workout coverage.
