Toll-free plan debate rages in Oklahoma
If Bob Anthony gets his way, the telephone proposal being discussed by Corporation Commission staff and industry officials would be called a statewide local calling plan.
"Some people don’t like the word ‘free’ in toll-free. OK, call it local,” Anthony said.
Anthony and fellow Commissioner Dana Murphy sat in on a Wednesday technical conference on the calling plan.
