Toll-free calling in Oklahoma may wait
A proposal for statewide toll-free calling in Oklahoma could be in jeopardy.
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission today will consider suspending the rulemaking proposal crafted by its telecommunications staff.
Commission staff had been pushing to get the plan to the commission by March 29, so it could still be enacted this year. Such rule changes must be submitted to the governor and Legislature by April 1.
