Overtime queens
Oklahoma now is 4-0 in overtime games this season. The Sooners also beat Arkansas, Marist and Baylor in overtime.

"We were very confident in overtime,” said OU’s Abi Olajuwon. "In our minds, if we’re going into overtime, you’re not going to beat us. If we’ve fought that hard for 40 minutes and you were fortunate enough to have as many points as us, we’re going to beat you.”

With the score tied at 70 in the final minute of overtime, OU point guard Danielle Robinson lofted an alley-oop pass that seemed headed out of bounds. But Nyeshia Stevenson soared high to grab the ball, pogo-sticked back up and drew a foul. She sank both free throws.

"It wasn’t the best pass,” Robinson said. "But I knew she was going to go up and get it. Her vertical’s crazy, and she made a play. At this point in the year, you’ve got to get every loose ball, every pass. I couldn’t be more proud of Nyeshia. She wanted it at the end.”

OU sophomore Jasmine Hartman hadn’t made a 3-pointer in her previous five games but nailed two against Notre Dame.

"I was really upset that they were backing off of me, thinking that I wasn’t a shooter,” Hartman said. "Which is true. I like to pass the ball.”

Hartman had the assist on Stevenson’s game-deciding 3-pointer with 4.4 seconds left. She also played stellar defense on Notre Dame guard Skylar Diggins, who had 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting.

"The thing Jas did all night was guard Skylar Diggins, honestly,” said OU coach Sherri Coale.
