FORT SILL -- Tulsa native and former professional wrestling champion Bill Goldberg will help salute the troops and raise money for military charity during Operation: Drive One this Saturday. Ford Motor Company and the staff, soldiers and families at Fort Sill will take part in the event from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It will include a test driving fundraiser featuring driving challenges, interactive vehicle displays, classic car shows and an autograph signing with Goldberg, the former WCW/WWE champion .

For every test drive, Ford will donate $20 to the National Military Family Association. Members of the armed forces, veterans, their families and post staff will have the chance to enter to win prizes, including a Ford Championship NASCAR weekend, a new 2011 Ford Mustang and an exclusive Toby Keith concert for their home base.

Goldberg has been a long-time military supporter, donating both his time and talent to raise money for military charities.

“I am so proud and excited to join Ford in support of Operation: Drive One and recognize the men and women of the armed forces who serve our country every day,” he said. “If we can provide a break for our troops and their families while raising money for a great cause, there’s nothing I’d rather be doing over the coming months.”

Fort Sill will be the first stop on the schedule for Operation: Drive One. Others include:

* Nellis Air Force Base (Las Vegas)

* Camp Pendleton (Oceanside, Calif.)

* Fort Lewis (Fort Lewis, Wash.)

* Fort Hood (Killeen, Texas)

* Jacksonville Naval Air Station (Jacksonville, Fla.)

* Norfolk Naval Station (Norfolk, Va.)

* Andrews Air Force Base (Washington, D.C.)

* Fort Benning (Columbus, Ga.)

* Fort Bragg (Fayetteville, N.C.)
