"Two years ago, I was not an NBA fan. But when the Thunder came to OKC, I was glad OKC was becoming a major-league city and wanted to support the effort. At that time, my wife was deployed with the Oklahoma National Guard to Iraq for a year. After talking to her, I submitted my name for possible season tickets.
