→Top Players: Three Cavaliers were named All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball, led by ace Danny Hultzen, a first-team selection. Hultzen is 10-1 with a 2.83 ERA and 118 strikeouts in 98 2/3 innings pitched. Closer Kevin Arico and left fielder Phil Gosselin were third-team picks. Arico leads the nation with 17 saves, while Gosselin is batting .378 with nine home runs and 57 RBIs. All three players earned first-team All-ACC, while four more Cavs were named to the second team.

→Pro prospects: Already, six Virginia players have been drafted — tying the program record — led by second-round pick Jarrett Parker, an outfielder who is batting .338 and shares the team home run lead at 10.
