Death of the Big 12: Who's holding the smoking gun?

Nobody, it seems, wants to be blamed for the killing of the Big 12 .

And while some continue clinging to hope for the conference's survival, evidence mounts of an imminent death, leaving Oklahoma and Oklahoma State poised to bolt for the Pac-10 as soon as formal invitations are issued.

And the formal invitations appear to be but a formality, due as early as this weekend.
