Norman fair artists announced

Artists participating in the Midsummer Nights' Fair in Norman are announced.

A slate of artists from Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas will exhibit their works at this year's Midsummer Nights' Fair. The fair, sponsored by Firehouse Art Center, will be from 6 to 11 p.m. July 9-10 at Lions Park, Flood Avenue and Symmes Street. Admission is free.

Artists' works include paintings, drawings, pottery, jewelry, glass and woodworking.

Firehouse Art Center faculty members will host demonstrations and provide art opportunities for children in a central tent at the fair. Children also can participate in painting a children's art wall, which will be displayed outdoors.

The fair also will feature live music and food.
