No. 1: Class 5A No. 1 Tulsa Washington at Class 5A No. 2 Carl Albert, 7:30, Friday

Can you think of a better way to open up the season than with the last two Class 5A champions squaring off?


No. 2: Class 4A No. 3 Douglass at Class 4A No. 2 Bishop McGuinness, 7:30, Thursday

The Irish and Trojans have been district foes lately but are now opening the season against each other in different districts.

No. 3: Class 5A No. 4 Duncan at Class 5A No. 3 Guthrie, 7:30, Friday

Week 1 belongs to Class 5A, with the top four teams going against each other. This game features three of the top recruits in the state: Guthrie's Kentrell Brothers and Duncan's Dylan Dismuke and Dominique Petties.

No. 4: Bixby at Class 6A No. 2 Jenks, 7:30, Friday

The Spartans have always played a tough nondistrict schedule when they were in 5A. This is their welcome to 6A.

No. 5: Class 5A No. 8 Ada at Ardmore, 7:30, Friday

What better way to start the season than with one of the longest and richest rivalries in the state?
