Class in Midwest City offers information about diabetes
MIDWEST CITY — A free class offering facts on diabetes is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at Midwest Regional Medical Center , 2825 Parklawn Drive.
The class will address the basics of diabetes, how different foods affect blood sugar and the role of carbohydrates in the diabetic diet. Speakers will be Diane Priest , a dietitian, and Margie Owen , a registered nurse.
