A preacher's daughter and former tomboy, Abby Lynn McAllister knows all about life in a small town, where everybody knows every one else.

But life has many lessons to teach her as she grows up and they aren't always easy ones.

Whispers in the Wind is C.E. Lemieux Jr.'s new novel, focusing on Abby's growth and love for her best friend, Henry Newburn, who she has adored since the fifth grade.

Lemieux, of Forgan, weaves Abby's story into an interesting tapestry of life that carries the reader through a story of the heart.

There are surprises along the way as Abby finds that one doesn't always get what he or she sees on the surface.

The obstacles can be many. But a confidant can be a lifesaver.

Whispers in the Wind was published through Amazon's Createspace division and is available through bookstores on Ingram's List. It also can be found on numerous online sources, including Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
