Sister elephants' similarities easy to see
It can be tricky to recognize which elephant is which, but zookeepers say Asha and Chandra each have their own distinct looks.
Asian elephants Asha and Chandra look quite a bit alike, but a few simple tricks make it easy to tell them apart.
Asha is a little bit bigger, said pachyderm supervisor Nick Newby said. But her bigger size is because she's two years older than her sister — not really because she's pregnant. Asha also has reverse freckling on her trunk, which makes it mostly light pink.
