DEFENSIVE GAMEPLAN: A

Brent Venables befuddled OSU quarterback Brandon Weeden with a variety of blitzes and coverages. The Cowboys punted seven times and committed three turnovers, in 15 possessions.

LANDRY JONES: B

Jones threw three interceptions — two on plays he was just trying to throw out of bounds — and kept OSU in the game in the first half. But Jones came up huge late, with TD passes of 86 and 76 yards in the final 3:03. He finished with a school record 468 yards, on 37 of 62 passing.

DEMARCO MURRAY: A

As always, Murray ran tough, despite limited space. Before a late injury, he gained 80 yards on 20 carries, including four third-down conversion runs, and had six catches for 41 yards.

ACTIVE HANDS: A

OU defenders played a little basketball, with their hands in the passing lanes. Two of Weeden's interceptions came on tipped balls, by Tony Jefferson and Ronnell Lewis.

Box Score: OU, 47 - OSU, 41
