OU coach Bob Stoops to update injury status of DeMarco Murray, Jonathan Nelson later today

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said he will know later today the injury status of running back DeMarco Murray and safety Jonathan Nelson for Saturday's Big 12 title game in Arlington, Texas.

"I'll have something a little more to say and make sure (the media) knows probably closer to practice or after practice," Stoops said Monday morning on the Big 12 title game teleconference.

Murray, who has rushed for 1,000 yards for the second time in his career, appeared to get hit on his left knee in the fourth quarter of OU's 47-41 Bedlam win over Oklahoma State and did not return.

Nelson, a senior, suffered a concussion early in the game and did not return.
