TIDBITS
*Last season, Thunder starters missed a total of six games, all by center Nenad Krstic. So far this season, starters have missed 10 games.
The Thunder is a combined 8-2 without its usual starting lineup of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Jeff Green, Thabo Sefolosha and Krstic, and 5-4 with the starting lineup intact.
*At the end of regulation, Westbrook had 17 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Despite the 15 extra minutes of overtime, Westbrook still failed to capture the third triple-double of his career, finishing with 38 points, a career-high 15 rebounds and nine assists.
Told Westbrook did not have a single assist in three overtimes, a smiling Green joked, “Yeah, man. Pass it to some open guys … Nah, Russell played tremendous. He took over. He's playing great.â€
Westbrook's previous triple-doubles came against Dallas two seasons ago (17-10-10) and at Minnesota last season (22-10-14).
