Wanda Jackson to perform on ‘Letterman,' ‘Conan' shows

Oklahoma City's own Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Wanda Jackson will perform Thursday night on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and Tuesday on “Conan.”

Tuesday is also the release date for Jackson's new album, “The Party Ain't Over,” which was produced by Jack White of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather fame.

The Letterman show airs at 10:35 p.m. Thursday on CBS. The Conan O'Brien show featuring Jackson will air at 10 p.m. Tuesday on TBS.

Jackson also is scheduled to perform in her hometown in a free album release concert at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Performance Lab of the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma, in Bricktown at 323 E Sheridan.
