Oklahoma's insurance anti-fraud investigators face layoff
New Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak will lay off six of the nine investigators in his anti-fraud unit at the end of the month.
“There just will not be any fraud investigations in the state,” said one of the investigators, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “If I were going to commit insurance fraud in Oklahoma, I would feel pretty confident I could get by with it.”
