Many drivers have moved abandoned vehicles, which has helped crews in snow removal operations. With the aid of law enforcement, some vehicles have been moved in order to facilitate snow removal. Owners should contact law enforcement with any questions about vehicle recovery, ODOT reports in a news release this morning. ODOT is running video clips from its road cameras on its website. As with the images used earlier, the 10-second loops are meant to show current roadway conditions and are updated every two minutes. The video clips may be viewed at www.oktraffic.org. In the next few days, before making travel plans, motorists are asked to: Check road conditions before getting out on the roads. Stay at least 200 feet behind road-clearing equipment; crews need room to maneuver and can engage plowing or spreading materials without notice.
