Participate in our Power Lunch chats Monday-Friday at 11 a.m. at NewsOK.com/sports On new Thunder center Nazr Mohammed's debut with the team against Indiana: Mohammed looked great. He looked like a taller [Serge] Ibaka, with a little less athletic ability. In fact, I had a hard time telling Ibaka and Mohammed apart, at first glance. I think he's going to be really good. Here's what Mohammed is. He's a real center. Not a great center, but an old-fashioned, real center. I can't believe Charlotte traded Mohammed. Why would the Bobcats do that? He's a very solid player, and Charlotte gave him away. I agree. The Thunder has transformed itself. Totally different team inside. Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha's defense: Thabo's defense is back. Look what he did to Danny Granger last night. Thabo was in a defensive slump -- he also wasn't getting to play as much. I think the trades have helped Ibaka and Harden in terms of status and playing time, and now I'm starting to think they're helping Thabo, too. On the possibility of the Dallas Cowboys drafting Heisman Trophy-winner Cam Newton: If the Cowboys draft Cam Newton, it's a clear indication Dallas doesn't believe it's a super Bowl contender. If you think you're Super Bowl worthy, you draft to fill a hole. I don't think Tony Romo is an elite quarterback, but I don't think Cam Newton is the next Tom Brady, either. On the upcoming NFL lockout: If I was guessing, I would say the NFL resumes after one lost week. Whether that means we miss a slate of games, I don't know. So let's predict a mid-September resoluation, with each team playing 14 games.
