Nuggets coach George Karl: “We can't outshoot this team. We need to outplay this team.”

Thunder forward Kevin Durant: “Overall, I think we did a good job of closing the paint. For instance, we put Nene on the free-throw line rather than giving him dunks like we did in Game 1.”

Karl: “They did a much better job this game of protecting the basket, for the most part. I think early in the game we settled for jump shots. I think we're a team that has to produce jump shots, not settle for jump shots.”

Karl: “This team (OKC) has some great shooters and we have to figure out how to get good shots together. I thought the beginning of the game just offensively shook our confidence so badly with the turnovers and missed shots.”

Gallinari on trying to come back from 43-17: “It's tough. It's especially tough to come back when you're down a lot of points, especially in a playoff series and when you're away. We cannot allow any more stretches which put us down 20.”
