TNT analyst Chris Webber:

“OKC would have won tonight if they would have given the ball to their best player. Their best player is (Kevin) Durant.”

Thunder coach Scott Brooks on game:

“I thought that was a great NBA playoff basketball. Unfortunately, we didn't get the win.”

“I wanted our guys to come and play and fight hard, and they did.”

“They made some plays down the stretch, and we did not make some plays.”

“We knew going into this series that every game was going to be tough.”

“Trust me, we didn't go into this series thinking we were going to sweep this team.”

“I'm not ashamed of our effort. I'm not ashamed of the way we played.”

“The ball didn't move as quickly as it needs to. We need to focus on moving the ball. Tonight, we did not do a very good job of that.”

On Russell Westbrook's 3-point attempts: “I thought one was a bad one. I thought the one over Galinari was in and then the last one was a desperation 3.”

On the Nuggets defense on Kevin Durant: “K.D. missed some shots that he normally makes. They also did a good job of getting into him.”

Denver standout Ty Lawson:

“Coach (George Karl) told me to attack. He said when I attack, it fuels the rest of the team. I tried to do that early.”

“It's easy to attack (Kendrick) Perkins, because he's a little bit slow.”

“There was a lot of emotion involved. This was the biggest game of my life.”
