The Dallas Morning News' Dallas Mavericks beat writer Eddie Sefko answered questions from readers in a special chat on NewsOK.com today. Read the entire chat recap here. On whether the Thunder will steal Game 2 in Dallas: I think that if the Thunder is going to have any chance in this series, they have to win tonight. And I believe they will, somehow. Streaks all end sometime. The problem is that they may very well need to win twice in Dallas to win this series. On the idea of Kendrick Perkins "creating a feud" with Tyson Chandler: That was the scuttlebutt going around at shootaround today. A lot of people just think he needs to be mad at somebody, so Chandler's an easy target. By the way, Joel Przybilla, the veteran center who was with Portland earlier this year, once had the great line that Chandler "cries more than my three-year-old.'' There's a kernel of truth in there somewhere. But I have to say, Chandler is one heck of a good dude. Hate him up there if you want. But you'd love him if you ever traded for him... Oh wait, the Thunder already went down that road. On Dirk Nowitzki's performance in Game 1 and how to defend him: Well, he's only scored below 20 once in the playoffs, and the Mavericks beat the Lakers by about a million in that game (Game 4). If I were the Thunder, I'd feel pretty good about the fact that Dirk got 48 in Game 1 and the Mavericks were only up by five late in the fourth. Just keep doing what your doing and mix in the occasional quick double team just to throw him off some. That is the best course. Of course, there's the San Antonio theory, too. Just double team him as soon as he gets across midcourt and make somebody else beat you. With quick, young legs, that's not always a bad option.
