The foundation of explosive offenses is built with strong offensive linemen.

Oklahoma State hopes to continue the trend of strong offensive line play with the commitment of Carthage (Texas) offensive tackle Greg Brantley, according to GoPokes.com. The 6-foor-7, 310-pound offensive lineman picked the Cowboys over interest from several schools including Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, Missouri and Baylor.

“Oklahoma State has been the clear leader from the start,” Brantley told the Web Site.

Brantley informed GoPokes.com of his commitment on Tuesday evening after visiting Stillwater with his teammate Edward Pope on Sunday and Monday.

Brantley is the sixth known commitment for OSU's class of 2012 and the second offensive lineman, joining Bryan (Texas) standout Tim Hines.
