Thunder notebook: OKC among favorites in 2011-12

The Oklahoma City Thunder is favored over the newly crowned Dallas Mavericks to win next year's NBA title.

According to Bodog Sportsbook, the odds are 8-to-1 the Thunder becomes world champions next season, which is second in the Western Conference behind the Los Angeles Lakers (11/2) and ahead of the Mavericks (10/1).

Despite losing to Dallas in this year's NBA Finals, the Miami Heat (5/2) is favored to win next year's crown, ahead of the Chicago Bulls (6/1).
