Tens of thousands of people lined the route for Edmond’s 39th annual LibertyFest Fourth of July parade on Monday.

The parade lasted longer than an hour-and-a-half with more than 112 group participants, according to the parade’s co-chairman, Jerry James.

The procession, which began at 9 a.m and continued until about 10:30 a.m., included trail riders, dune buggies, square dancers, martial artists and even Darth Vader.

The parade is part of the weeklong LibertyFest celebration that takes place in Edmond.
