Nathan Brown will read from new book honoring fellow Norman poet

NORMAN — Poet Nathan Brown will read Sunday from his first book of nonfiction, which honors his friend and fellow poet Jim Chastain , who died of cancer in 2009.

Brown will read from “Letters to the One-Armed Poet: A Memoir of Friendship, Loss, and Butternut Squash Ravioli” at 2 p.m. in the Santa Fe Depot, 200 S Jones Ave. The reading is sponsored by the Performing Arts Studio.
