Response to ESPN's announcement that one of Texas' Big 12 football games will be broadcast on the new Longhorn Network:

MIKE HOLDER, Oklahoma State athletic director

If a game isn't available anywhere but the Longhorn Network: “That's going to be awkward. Definitely awkward.”

If that game involves OSU: “I don't even want to think about that. But I don't know what you can do about it. Fox and ESPN own the rights to those games, whatever platform they decide to put it on.”

JOE CASTIGLIONE, Oklahoma athletic director

“I want to caution you, this has to unfold to see what it really means. We can sit back and raise some of the concerns. The presentation part. The notion of being on another institution's network, how that game would be produced. The bias of announcers. All those kinds of things. Would it make fans of the opponent uncomfortable? I don't have that answer, either. Certainly if it's a conference game situation, I think it does raise some concerns.”
