OSU quarterback Brandon Weeden on his three interceptions: “As many times as I threw the ball last year, I didn't throw very many (interceptions). I hate throwing interceptions. It's not fun. But they happen when you throw the ball as many times as we do.”


Louisiana-Lafayette coach Mark Hudspeth on his team's performance: “Whenever it's your first game with your new team, you don't know what to expect, especially when you're going to play the No. 8 team in the nation with two Heisman Trophy candidates.
