NORMAN — Oklahoma wins, and Ryan Broyles has a big game. Those two things have become a constant this season. But despite a 38-28 victory against Missouri, the Sooners had some unexpected issues against the Tigers.
STAR RECEIVER: A
Ryan Broyles is so consistently good that you almost take him for granted. The senior receiver had 13 catches for 154 yards and three touchdowns. Whenever the Sooners needed a big play, he was there.
RESERVE RECEIVERS: B
With Kenny Stills and Trey Franks sidelined, the Sooners leaned on some little-used reserves. There were some not-so-pretty moments, but Jaz Reynolds had five catches for 93 yards and Dejuan Miller had four catches for 40 yards.
EARLY PHYSICALITY: D
OU didn't just get popped in the chin. The Sooners stood there and took it. The Tigers dominated the lines, giving the Sooners problems on both sides of the ball. Was it a Florida State hangover? Was it an underestimation of Missouri? Whatever the case, it sure wasn't pretty.
