Taste of Bricktown returns
Taste of Bricktown is being relaunched by the Bricktown Association after a three-year hiatus. The festival, sponsored by Oklahoma City Chevy Team Dealers, will feature 20 eateries from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at RedHawks Field at Bricktown.
“Bricktown has long been a favorite destination for food, refreshments and entertainment,” said Bricktown Association Executive Director Jeannette Smith. For the event, “we're bringing together the best of what we have to offer all in one spot for a spectacular festival-like experience that is sure to delight attendees of all ages.”
The event will feature live music from Chevy Bricktown Showcase artists Clancy Davis, Matt Stansberry and O Fidelis. Children's attractions will include Spaghetti Eddie, face painting, caricature drawings and Chester the Clown. Children can shoot hoops with the Oklahoma City Thunder's Rumble the Bison, run bases with the RedHawks' Cooper and Ruby, and try street hockey with the Barons' Derek and the Ice Girls.
Tickets cost $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Ages 12 and younger get in free. For tickets, go to www.
