Here's a look at Oklahoma's 62-6 win over Ball State by the numbers:

2: Times this season OU has produced a particular final score for the first time in its history. The Sooners never before had played a 62-6 game, just as they had never played a 23-13 game (Florida State).

3.0: Average gain per play for Ball State, a far better performance for OU's defense than the 7.09 allowed against Missouri a week ago. The Sooners had allowed a higher average in a victory only once before, in a 24-22 win over Missouri in 1979.

5: OU freshman made their collegiate debuts – quarterback Blake Bell, defensive end Geneo Grissom, tailback Brandon Williams and offensive linemen Nila Kasitati and Daryl Williams.

7.3: Average gain per run for Dominique Whaley (109 yards, 15 carries) in his first start. Whaley now is averaging 5.4 yards per carry this season.
