Scouting Kansas

Record: 2-3, defeated McNeese State 42-24 on Sept. 3; defeated Northern Illinois 45-42 on Sept. 10; lost 66-24 at Georgia Tech on Sept. 17; lost 45-34 against Texas Tech on Oct. 1; lost 70-28 at Oklahoma State on Oct. 8.

Best player: RB James Sims

Why the Jayhawks could beat OU: It's almost impossible to come up with a conceivable way. The game is not in Norman?

Why the Jayhawks will lose to OU: They surrendered 70 points to an Oklahoma State offense that's on par with Oklahoma's. That wasn't an aberration, either. KU is giving up 49.4 points a game. It's really just a matter of how long it takes before it gets ugly.
