Oklahoma State moved up to third in the latest BCS standings released Sunday night after the Cowboys' 45-24 win at Missouri, while Oklahoma's 41-38 loss to Texas Tech dropped the Sooners to ninth in the latest rankings.
OSU (.9240) sits behind No. 2 Alabama (.9627) and No. 1 LSU (.9702), which play each other on Nov. 5 in Tuscaloosa, in the standings. The Cowboys are ranked No. 1 in five of the six computers, which makes up one-third of the BCS formula.
Boise State (.8302) and Clemson (.8240) round out the top 5, with Stanford (.8124) and Oregon (.6877) coming in at No. 6 and No. 7, respectively. Kansas State (.6681), which hosts OU (.6642) on Saturday, is eighth, and Arkansas (.6581) ranks 10th.
Other Big 12 teams ranked in the BCS top 25 include Texas A&M at No. 16, Texas Tech at No. 20 and Texas at No. 24.
