BETHANY (AP) — Investigators in Bethany want the FBI to help them identify possible suspects in the death of a 19-year-old woman whose dismembered body was found in a duffel bag.
Deputy Chief John Reid said Tuesday investigators have asked the FBI's Behavioral Sciences Unit to develop a profile of possible suspects in the death of Carina Saunders. Saunders' beheaded body was found stuffed in a duffel bag behind a grocery store on Oct. 13.
Reid says investigators have no suspects in the grisly murder. He says a 21-year-old culinary arts student described as a person of interest in the case was cleared after police questioned him about Saunders' death.
Reid says police are tracking down new leads but he declined to discuss details. He says there's no known motive for the slaying.
