Churches partner with electric cooperative to aid community

STILLWATER — A rural electric cooperative recently partnered with one dozen churches to provide energy efficiency improvements at more than 60 homes in the Stillwater and Perkins area.

About 150 church volunteers gathered Oct. 22 at the Central Rural Electric Cooperative, 304 S Boomer Road, to form teams that spread throughout Stillwater and Perkins neighborhoods.
