*Scouting report: Abbotsford (5-1-0-0) and Oklahoma City (6-2-0-1) are two of the hottest teams early this American Hockey League season. ... Abbotsford is affiliated with the Calgary Flames. ... The Barons' front end is stronger with the addition of forward Linus Omark from the Edmonton Oilers. He played in five NHL games this season; he had 31 points in 28 games for Oklahoma City in 2010-2011. ... The Barons added defenseman Dan Ringwald to help make up for the loss of promoted blue-liners Jeff Petry and Colten Teubert. Ringwald, who was in the Barons' training camp last month, had five points in six games for the Oilers' Double-A affiliate, the Stockton Thunder.
