Oklahoma has had 25 fire declarations so far this year
Drought-stricken Oklahoma has been the site of 25 of 115 federal fire assistance declarations this year, the highest total in at least a decade.
And the year's not over yet.
The declarations allow qualifying agencies, including fire departments, to apply for reimbursement up to 75 percent for the costs of containing the fires.
