OU coach Bob Stoops said Saturday that three players will miss the Insight Bowl because of injury.

Stoops said wide receiver Jaz Reynolds (kidney), fullback Aaron Ripkowski (back) and running back Brandon Williams (neck) will miss the Sooners' Dec. 30 game against Iowa.

He said Reynolds suffered a kidney injury in the Sooners' Bedlam loss to Oklahoma State and has been hospitalized for the last seven days.

“We've had some significant injuries over the last half of the season, but this is an opportunity for other players,” said Stoops.  “We're excited about our trip to Tempe and the opportunity we've got to reach 10 wins.”
