Oklahoma sophomore fullback Trey Millard's role has expanded this season. In addition to playing fullback, Millard also has played H-back and can play tight end if needed. He was the lead blocker in the Belldozer package, opening holes for roommate Blake Bell. The highlight of his season was a 61-yard touchdown run against Kansas State when he displayed more speed than probably any other any fullback in the country.

With only two running backs available, are you excited you might receive more carries in the bowl game?

That would be awesome. I'll just run hard every time they give it to me, no matter how many carries that is. Brennan (Clay) and Roy (Finch) definitely are capable. If they give me the ball a few times I'll just do my best.

What was your favorite play this season other than the long TD run?

The Mizzou hit down the sideline (a punishing block that the crowd reacted to, especially when the replay was shown on the scoreboard). When people talk to me, some of them still bring up that play up.

Was your expanded role everything you hoped it would be?

I got to play a lot of different spots and got some touches (20 carries, 12 receptions). It's been a lot of fun. I'll do whatever they need me to do to help this team win.
