A preliminary hearing is scheduled in March for a former McLoud third-grade teacher accused of making child pornography involving her students and sharing it online with a retired college professor in Pennsylvania.
Pottawatomie County District Attorney Richard Smothermon says a hearing will be held March 6 to determine if there is enough evidence to hold 48-year-old Kimberly Ann Crain over for trial.
Crain and retired Pennsylvania college professor Gary Doby, 65, are charged in the case in which prosecutors allege Crain took photos of as many as 14 young girls and shared them with Doby, who is fighting extradition from Pennsylvania.
Smothermon says a hearing also is set for Jan. 30 on an anticipated defense motion to reduce Crain's bond, which currently is set at $1 million.
