Wildlife rescue may be next move for kangaroo, former Broken Arrow owner
McALESTER — Former Broken Arrow resident Christie Carr said she and her disabled kangaroo, Irwin, plan to move to Wild Heart Ranch, a wildlife rehabilitation center near Foyil.
McALESTER — Former Broken Arrow resident Christie Carr said she and her disabled kangaroo, Irwin, plan to move to Wild Heart Ranch, a wildlife rehabilitation center near Foyil.
Until a place there is ready, Wild Heart co-founder Sandy Brooks is arranging for them to live on her property near Owasso. For now, Carr and Irwin are at her parents’ home in McAlester.
