Zack Sanchez, out of Keller, Texas, wound up being a big part of Oklahoma's strong close at the position.
Sanchez had wanted and offer from the Sooners for awhile but when it didn't look like it was coming, he committed to Baylor in July.
But when things started opening back up in January — and with some changes on the OU coaching staff — the Sooners made a final run at Sanchez.
After a visit last weekend, Sanchez made his switch official on Monday with an announcement on Twitter.
Sanchez (6-foot-0, 172 pounds) was borderline to pick up an offer from Baylor over the summer but after strong performances in camps, was offered by the Bears and committed shortly afterward.
He continued to improve as a senior, as a two-way standout. Sanchez had 41 catches for 944 yards and 15 total touchdowns this year. He picked off nine passes, returning two for touchdowns, had 30 tackles and broke up eight passes during the regular season.
He also helped Central to the UIL playoffs for the first time.
