Iowa football recruiting: Norman's George Kittle signs with Iowa

Norman wide receiver George Kittle, the son of Oklahoma tight ends coach Bruce Kittle, has signed a letter of intent with Iowa.

Norman wide receiver George Kittle is heading home to play college football.

Kittle, the son of Oklahoma tight ends and offensive tackles Bruce Kittle, has signed with Iowa.

Kittle had 370 yards and six touchdowns receiving for Norman as a senior.

Bruce Kittle played for the Hawkeyes and spent four years on Iowa's staff following his graduation.

He came to the Sooners after serving as an assistant coach in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

George Kittle is also a basketball standout for the Tigers.

He was No. 19 on The Oklahoman's final Super 30 list of the top football prospects in the state.
