“Warrior Spirits: Indigenous Arts from Papua New Guinea” features nearly 100 cultural objects from the permanent collections of the Sam Noble Museum and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. The exhibit opened Friday and will run through May 13.

The objects, which include masks, drums, ceremonial garments, daggers, war-clubs and spears, were created and used by the indigenous peoples of present-day Papua New Guinea and West Papua, Indonesia.
