Central government must get its debt under control
In response to Lowell Adams (Your Views, Feb. 7): Most conservative politicians don't call for a weak central government, but for less central government and more local government. As for America 's economic recovery, it's yet to be. Massive injections of central government money, whether borrowed or printed, have merely propped up a sick economy, as morphine eases the pain of a terminal patient.
