Chili cook-off is Saturday

— The Waynoka Chamber of Commerce, 116 S Main St., will host its annual chili cook-off at 5 p.m. Feb. 18.

For $7 per adult — no charge for children younger than 10 — guests can sample from each kettle and help determine winners of some of the categories, which include Hottest Chili, People's Choice, Best Decorated Booth, Best Commercial, and a Kid's Cookie Baking Contest.

Oyster tradition continues in Frederick

Frederick's 23rd annual Fantastic Oyster Fry Festival will be March 31.

The traditional oyster fry will be at the Prather Brown Center, 211 S 13 St. Ticket distribution begins at 3 p.m., and serving begins at 4 p.m. with ticket No. 1. The menu includes homemade coleslaw, potato chips, bread, iced tea, coffee and oysters — raw or fried.
