Prosecutors filed murder and conspiracy charges Thursday against three people in a suspected murder-for-hire plot that left a pregnant Midwest City mother dead.

Jessica Lynn Brown, 23, was found shot to death in her home Jan. 11. Her estranged husband, Fabion Brown, 24, his girlfriend, Emily Matheson, 23, and an acquaintance of theirs, Brodric Glover, 19, were each charged Thursday with two counts of murder and one count of conspiracy.

Prosecutors accuse Fabion Brown and Matheson of hiring Glover to kill Jessica Brown, who was divorcing her husband and planned to take their two young children out of state.

Glover told police he shot Jessica Brown while she was in bed next to her children, who were found outside the next morning after someone called police and said they were walking in the street unsupervised. She was six months pregnant with a baby girl when she was killed. has disabled the comments for this article.
